Laundry time!
As I did my laundry tonight, I noticed the water flowing out of the washing machine, turning dark as all the colors from my clothes mixed together. It reminded me of how, in painting, blending too many colors creates a deep, dark shade. We often view black as something negative, but really, it’s the combination of every color. This thought made me smile, and I understood why they say people who love black lead colorful lives. From now on, I’ll think of black as a beautiful mix of everything vibrant, coming together in one shade.
