It doesn’t matter if you know everything, the question is, do you practice it?
Sometimes we have to be reminded of how small problems are. Not as a way to diminish them, but as a away to express gratitude for what we have, and the grace the universe is treating us with. In this vast universe, think to yourself from a widened and objective prespective, what matters most? What seems to be the value in the human experience? Things like love, joy, memories, bonding, growth, evolution, even experiencing the depths of negative emotions. Stop obsessing over rules and expectations for what you need to be happy or to be your fullest most aligned self. So much of existence is a mystery, and you expect to know it all, or for someone else to tell you everything right now? No, relax, what matters most, is what will be remembered. So daunting yourself over every small detail is pointless, enjoy your life, it’s why you came here to begin with.
When you choose peace, it comes with a lot of goodbyes.
Learn to observe your thoughts and not absorb them. Those negative thoughts are not a reflection of reality, they are not a reflection of the mind. Instead of treating a fearful thought as a real life threat, treat it as an injury thta needs healing. Just notice the thought come into your awareness, notice the emotions it triggers, and just sit with it observing it the best you can. See how life isn’t making you anxious and frightened but rather it is the thoughts. Don’t avoid life because of these thoughts, don’t listen to the fearful instructions you receive from them. All the power they have– lies in your ability to be emotionally pulled in by their triggering words. If you can control your reaction, you can control your peace.
Once your realize that everyone is usually projecting, you stop taking things so personally.
You gotta stop taking your thoughts so seriously. Your inner monologue is not who you truly are. You are the awareness of this inner voice. Think about how many problems would seize to exist if you simply didn’t think about them? So, instead of trying to reason your way of out of negative thoughts through logic, just take a back seat. Understand you are the observer, not the speaker. This realization will ease the process a bit. As well, notice the emotion, the negative thought causes in you, where do you feel it in your body? What we’re trying to heal is actually a feeling, an energy within that needs healing and space to be felt. The thoughts just kind of act as a messenger for these emotions to be fully released. Feel the feeling, do not engage in the conversation. Come back to being the listener as much as you can, not the inner speaker.
